Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to in-
troduce a bill entitled "An Act to refund to the Phoenix
Perpetual Land 'and Building Association of Baltimore
city, a certain sum of money paid by the said Associa-
tion to the Treasurer of the State of Maryland as a bonus
tax under chapter 536, of the Acts of 1890.

On motion of Mr. Simmons,

Leave was granted to the Calvert county delegation
and Mr. Collins, to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to
require the Board of County Commissioners of Calvert
county to levy the sum of five hundred dollars to reim-
burse the Board of School Commissioners of Calvert
county for money expended in building a school house at
Solomon's Island. "

On motion of Mr. Brown, of Baltimore city,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Gover-
nor to appoint additional Notaries Public for Baltimore-
city. "

On motion of Mr. Lehmayer,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to give and declare the
sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland to the
devises and bequests contained in the last will and tes-
tament of John V. L. Graham, late of Baltimore city, de-
ceased. "

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to.
sundry gifts, bequests and devises contained in the last
will and testament of Kate Naughton, late of the city of
Baltimore, deceased. "
