INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Walsh,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 15, of
Article 10, of the Code of Public General Laws, as amend-
ed by chapter 472, of the A. cts of L898, and to re-enact
the same with amendments. "
On motion of Mr. Martenet,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the im-
posing, levying, assessing or collection of special deposits
by the Consolidated Gas Company of Baltimore city. "
On motion of Mr. Collins,
Leave was granted to the Talbot county delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to require the County
Commissioners of Talbot county to pay over to the Com-
missioner of the town of St. Michael's, ' a portion of the
tax for public roads, to keep up Talbot street. "
On motion of Mr. Biggs,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 92, of
Article 5, of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Appeals and Errors, ' sub-title 'Appeals from
Justices of the Peace, ' and to re-enact the said section
amended. "
On motion of Mr. Contee,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 279, of Article 93, of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland. "
On motion of Mr. Hopkins,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add a new section
to Article 23, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'Corporations. ' sub-title 'Railroads, 'to follow section 177,
and to be designated as 'Section 177 A. ' "
On motion of Mr. Siegmund,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the
Baltimore Industrial Power and Railway Company. "
