Mr. Kimble presented the petition of Theo. J. Vanne-
man and others of Port Deposit, Md., against same.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Judiciary.

Mr. Roberts presented the petition of C. E. Dryden,
and 37 other citizens of Wicomico county against same.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Judiciary.

Mr. Brown, of Frederick county, presented the peti-
tion of C. M. Cullum and 36 others against same.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Judiciary.

Mr. Latrobe presented the memorial of Frank M.
Adams against the repeal of the Sunday laws.

Also,

The memorial of John N. Parker and others against
same.

Which were severally read and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judiciary.

Mr. Corkran presented the petition of George W. Ab-
bott and 109 other citizens of Dorchester county, pray-
ing for a law to close the Choptank river to dredge and
scrape boats.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Mr. Latrobe presented the petition of Rev. J. E. Gram-
mar and 33 others against any modification of existing
Sunday law.

The petition of Jno. C. Evans and others, against any
modification of the Sunday law.

Also,

The petition of Rev. J. E. Maloy and others against
same.

The petition of Rev. W. W. Wood and others against
