of Maryland, title 'Revenue and Taxes, ' to be designated
'Section 204, ' to follow section 303 of said Article. "
On motion of Mr. Lehmayer,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to enable the First
Congregational Church of Baltimore a religious corpora-
tion, duly incorporated under the laws of the State of
Maryland, to hold, mortgage, lease or hold certain prop-
erty in the city of Baltimore. "
On motion of Mr. Duncan,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 225, of Article 16, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title 'Chancery, ' sub-title 'Wit-
nesses, ' as the same was repealed and re-enacted with
amendments by the Act of the General Assembly passed
January session 1890, chapter 86, and as the same was
repealed and re-enacted with amendments by the Act of
the General Assembly, passed January session 1896,
chapter 35. "
On motion of Mr. Scrimger,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to give and grant the
sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland to sundry
gifts, leases, grants, devises and bequests of various per-
sons in the State, to or for the use of sundry religious
sects, orders, etc. "
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal a portion of
the Act of Assembly of 1892, chapter 200, and a portion
of the Act of Assembly of 1898, chapter 123. "
