On motion of Mr. Sandman, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Choate be excused from this night's
session on account of business..

On motion of Mr. Deets, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Hutton be excused from to-night's
session.

On motion of Mr. Johnson, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Real be excused from to-night's ses-
sion on account of important business.
On motion of Mr. Dryden, it was

Ordered, That Messrs Clark and Disharoon be excused
from attendance at to-night's session on account of busi-
ness.

Also,

Ordered, That Messrs. Kendall and Norris, of Kent,
be excused from attendance at to-night's session on ac-
count of important business.

LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.

On motion of Mr. Satterfield,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 259, of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'Crimes and Punishments, ' sub-title 'Traction Engines, '
and to re-enact the same with amendments. "
On motion of Mr. Gately,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 4
and 7, of chapter 489, of the Acts of 1898, entitled 'An
Act to incorporate the Lime and Cement Stock Exchange
of Baltimore city, ' and to re-enact with amendments said
section 4, of said chapter 489. "
On motion of Mr. Long,

Leave was granted to the Washington county delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize and
empower the Mayor and Council of Hagerstown to establish
a system for the collection of garbage in Hagerstown,
Maryland. "
