Senate bill entitled "An Act to add three additional
sections to Article 96, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland entitled 'United States, ' to follow sec-
18, and to be known as 'Sections 19, 20 and 21. '"

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Knott, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to regulate the rate and
conditions upon which the several turnpike road com-
panies of Washington county, may charge and collect
tolls on bicycles and other like vehicles propelled by
human muscles. '"

Which was read a first time.

Also, unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to change the name of the
Mortgage and Trust Company incorporated by chapter
263, of the Acts of 1898, to that of the Standard Trust
Company, and to repeal and re-enact with amendments
section 13, of said chapter, subjecting said company to
certion provisions and authorizing it to unite with other
like companies. "

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter and
enlarge the powers of the St. Dennis Mutual Savings
and Loan Association, of Baltimore county, so as to en-
able it to lend money on promissory notes and bills
obligatory. "
