House bill entitled "An Act to protect the citizens of
this State from the impositions of "fake" corporations. "

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Judiciary.

Also, unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to change the name of the
'German Reformed Congregation in Baltimore Town, ' a
body corporate, to the 'First Reformed Church of Balti-
more City. ' "

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

Mr. Lehmayer, from the Committee on Judiciary, re-
ported favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to limit the session of the
grand jury of Frederick county. "
Which was read a first time.
Also, with proposed amendment,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 227, of Article 93, of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland, as amended by the
Act of 1892, chapter 465.

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Add in line 16, after the word " life, " the following:

"The Judges of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore city
shall receive $9 for every day's attendance upon the ses-
sion of said Orphans' Court of Baltimore city, to be paid
by the city of Baltimore at the end of each and every
month, and the sessions of the said Orphans' Court of
Baltimore city shall continue from 11 A. M. to 3 P.
M., if necessary, for the transaction of the business
of the Court, and provided that all provisions of any
Public General Law or Public Local Law inconsistent
herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed. "

Which was read a second time.

Also, favorably, with proposed amendments,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 23, of
the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
'Chancery, ' sub-title 'Pleading, Practice and Process, ' by
adding a new section thereto, to be known as 'Section
186 B. '"
