PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
Mr. Waters presented the petition of United Steam
Fire Engine Company No. 30, of Frederick, Md., signed
by Lloyd T. Gill, Jr., and others, asking that the office of
Fire Marshal be abolished, and asking that an appropria-
tion be made the Maryland State Volunteer Firemen's
Association.
