On motion of Mr. Martenet,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to provide for the pro-
tection of persons dealing with laundries in the city of
Baltimore. "
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sec-
tions 188 to 217 inclusive, of Article 3, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title 'Baltimore County, ' sub-title
'Roads, ' as amended by chapter 49 and chapter 679, of
the Acts of 1892, chapter 447, of the Acts, of 1894, chap-
ter 469, of the Acts of 1896, and chapter 309, of the Acts
of 1898, and to re-enact the same with amendments, and
to add three new sections thereto, to be designated
'Sections 217 A, 217 B, and 217 C. '"
On motion of Mr. Sandman,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter
and enlarge the powers of the St. Dennis Mutual Savings
and Loan Association of Baltimore county, so as to enable
it to lend money on promissory notes and bills obliga-
tory. "
On motion of Mr. Walsh,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to in-
troduce a bill entitled "An Act to pay David M. Henning
($100) for services rendered to the State of Maryland, in
prosecuting the case of the State of Maryland vs. Daniel
H. Lynn, in the Circuit Court for Carroll county and in
the Court of Appeals of Maryland. "
On motion of Mr. Deets,
Leave was granted to the Montgomery county delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section
109, of Article 16, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
' Montgomery County, ' sub-title ' Hyattstown, ' and to re-
enact the same with amendments. ''
On motion of Mr. Lakin,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Temperance to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to regulate the sale of
liquor in Frederick county. "
