On motion of Mr. Waller,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Hygiene to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 31, of Article 43, of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland, title 'Health, ' sub-
title 'Infectious Diseases—Small Pox, ' and provide for
the free vaccination of pupils in the public schools of
this State. '"
On motion of Mr. Knott,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend the Act of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the De-
cember Session 1835, thereof, chapter 328, entitled 'An
Act to incorporate the George's Creek Mining Co. ' as
amended and supplemented by the Act of said General
Assembly passed at the adjourned May Session 1836
thereof, Ch. 382, entitled 'A Supplement to the Act to in-
corporate the George's Creek Mining Co. ' (whereby
amongst other things the name of said company was
changed to the name of the George's Creek Coal and Iron
Co. ) by adding certain additional sections thereto, en-
larging the corporate powers of said company and pro-
viding for the appointment of a vice president of said
company. '"
On motion of Mr. Lehmayer,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add an additional
section to Article 9, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled 'Attachments, ' to follow section 48, and to be
known as 'Section 49, ' to be preceded by the heading
'Motions to Quash Attachments. ' "
On motion of Mr. Simmons,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and Its Tributaries to introduce a bill entitled "An
Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments, section 102,
of Article 5, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Calvert County, ' sub-title 'Oysters. ' "
