On motion of Mr. Stewart,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the issuing
of any license for the sale of spirituous or fermented
liquors or lager beer within one mile of the junction of
Norris and Francke avenues, in the village of Luther-
ville, Baltimore county, and to prevent the sale of intoxi-
cating drinks within the above described limits.
On motion of Mr. Latrobe,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to a
deed or conveyance, dated March 8th, 1898, and recorded
among the Land Records of Baltimore county, in Liber
N. M. B., No. 231, folio 205, &c., from Charles Lewis and
Anna A. Lewis, to the St. Helena Presbyterian Church,
of Baltimore county, a corporation duly incorporated,
of two fee-simple lots of ground situated on the South
side of Patapsco avenue, in the village of St. Helena,
Baltimore county, and known as 'Lots 183 and 184, ' on
the plat of St. Helena, as described in said deed. "
On motion of Mr. Long,
Leave was granted to the Washington county delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section
194 of Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Washington County, ' sub-title 'Hagerstown, ' and re-en-
act the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Mann (by request),
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 188,
189, 190, 191, 193, 195, of chapter 447, of the Acts passed
at the January Session, 1894, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title 'Baltimore County, ' sub-title 'Roads, ' so far
as the same apply to the Twelfth District of Baltimore
county, and to enact new sections in lieu of those sec-
tions repealed by this Act "
On motion of Mr. Bramble,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to in-
troduce a bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of
