LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Long,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to appropriate
a sum of money to refund to certain enlisted men in the
First Maryland Regiment of Volunteer Infantry, who
served during the Spanish-American War, a sum of money
deducted from their clothing allowance and turned over
to the State of Maryland in return for certain clothing
furnished by the State of Maryland to such enlisted
men. "

On motion of Mr. Walsh,

Leave was granted to the Carroll county delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to empower the Mayor
and Common Council of Westminster, Carroll county
to call in the bonds of the City of Westminster, issued
by authority of sections 248, 249, 250 and 251, of Article
7, of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of
Maryland, and to raise money therefor by issuing other
bonds of said City. "

Leave was granted to the Washington county delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add a new
section to Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
