On motion of Mr. Long,
Leave was granted to the Washington county delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize and
empower the Mayor and Council of Hagerstown, to bor-
row the sum of five thousand dollars for drainage pur-
poses. "
On motion of Mr. Sandman,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to license traders in
Baltimore county. "
By Mr. Walsh,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to extend the privi-
leges, enlarge the powers and amend the charter of the
Westminister Water Company, of Westminister, Mary-
land, a corporation duly incorporated under the General
Laws of this State. "

the General Assembly of Maryland to the grant of a par-
