Mr. Latrobe, from the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the annual
compilation and publication of a manual of the State of
Maryland. "

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Collins, from the Committee on Claims, reported
favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to refund to Henry B.
Cooper and Francis A. Cooper, executors of Edw. H.
Cooper, of Baltimore city, a certain amount of collateral
inheritance tax paid in error to the Register of Wills of
Baltimore city, and by them paid to the State of Mary-
land. "

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Lehmayer, from Committee on Judiciary, reported
favorably, -with proposed amendments,

House bill entitled "An Act to regulate the practice of
the 'Profession of Public Accountant, ' in the State of
Maryland. "

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS.

1. In section 2, line 2, strike out the word "five" and
insert in lieu thereof, "four, " and in line 3 of said sec-
tion, strike out the word "three, " and insert in lieu
thereof, the word "two, " and in line 11, of said section,
strike out the word "three, " and insert in lieu thereof,
the word "two. "

2. Strike out all of "section 7. "

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Knott, from the Committee on Library, reported
unfavorably,

Joint resolution, authorizing the State Librarian to de-
liver to the State's Attorney of Baltimore city, a full and
complete set of the Maryland Reports, and also a copy
of the Code and Supplements.

Which unfavorable report was adopted.
