Leave was granted to the Committee on Education to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 100, of Article 77, of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland, title 'Public Edu-
cation, ' sub-title 'Sources of Income, ' as re-enacted by
chapter 285, of the Acts of 1894. "
On motion of Mr. Staley,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to provide for
a State subscription to a work, entitled 'Maryland Bio-
graphy, Colonial Period, ' 1634 and 1776.

Mr. Collins, from the Committee on Claims, reported
favorably the following order:

Ordered, That the Committee on Claims pay to Wm.
McNasby the sum of $7. 90, for three tables and one
stove zinc for use of the House of Delegates, as per bill
herewith exhibited and approved by the Superintendent
of Public Buildings.
