The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered the
following message:

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 61, of
Article 77, of the Code or Public General Laws, title
'Public Education, ' as re-enacted by chapter 135, of the
Acts of Assembly of the State of Maryland, at the session
of 1896, and to re-enact said section so as to read as fol-
lows. "

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Education.

Also,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to extend the privileges,
enlarge the powers, and amend the charter of the Woods-
bero' Savings Bank of Frederick county, Md. "

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

Also,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to add three additional
sections to Article 96, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, entitled 'United States, ' to follow
section 18, and to be known as 'Sections 19, 20 and 21. '"

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Federal Relations.

Also,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 65, of
Article 10, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Dor-
chester County, ' sub-title 'Cambridge, ' and to re-enact
the same with amendments, and to add to said section
