On motion of Mr, Bramble,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to extend the privi-
leges, enlarge the powers, and amend the charter of the
'Eureka Mutual Aid Society of Baltimore city, ' a corpo-
ration duly incorporated under the General Laws of this
State "

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to give sanction and
consent of the General Assembly of Maryland, to the
deed of a certain piece of land to the Vestry of the
Church of Atonement, a body corporate of the city of
Baltimore. "

On motion of Mr. Mitchell,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the
Harford Electric Railway Company. "

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to appropriate
a sum of money to the Female House of Refuge for the
erection of a new building and steam heating apparatus. "

Also,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to make valid mortgages
defectively sworn to and worded since the 14th day of
March, in the year 1898. "

On motion of Mr. Contee,

Leave was grafted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act appropriating
a sum of money for the relief of certain farmers of
Prince George's county, who were sufferers from the
storms of August 3d, 1899. "

On motion of Mr. Waters,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Education to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 38, of
Article 77, of the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Pub-
