'On motion of Mr. Perkins, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Lancaster be excused from to-day's
session on account of business.

Mr. Dryden submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Folders be required to place upon
the desks of the members of the House, every morning,
ten copies of the Journals of the House and Senate,
folded and prepared for mailing.

Which was read, considered, and
On motion of Mr. Mitchell,

Was laid on the table.

Mr. Walbach submitted the following order:

Ordered, That five copies of the Journal be placed on
the desk ready for mailing, instead of ten.

Which was read, considered, and
On motion of Mr. Mitchell,

Laid on the table.

Mr. Duncan submitted the following order:

Ordered, That a committee of three be appointed by
the Speaker to have full and absolute authority to look
into the matter of printed bills.

Which was read, considered and adopted.

The Speaker appointed the following Special Com-
mittee: Messrs. Duncan, Mitchell and Pattison, in
accordance with the above order.

LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Knott,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 10, 37, 59, 77, 97 and 176, of
the Acts of 1898, chapter 123, entitled ' City of Baltimore, '
sub-title ' Charter. '

On motion of Mr. Duncan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act relating to the
Ante-Revolution records and papers of Maryland. "
On motion of Mr. Robinson,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
