Mr. Scrimger submitted the following proposed amend-
ment:

Baltimore county. "

Mr. Knott moved to lay the amendment upon the
table.

Division called for, and the call being sustained, the
motion was lost.

On motion, the bill was recommitted to the Washing-
ton county delegation.
