the Antietam Battlefield Commission to transfer to the
perpetual care of the Government of the United States
the property acquired by them on the battlefield of
Antietam. "

Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act making an ap-
ropriation for the purpose of paying the expenses of the
dedication of the Maryland Soldiers' Monument on the
battlefield of Antietam. "
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means, to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to appropri-
ate $1, 000 to the Alberta United Christian Industrial
School and Orphan Asylum of Baltimore city. "
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary, to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
Testamentary Law, ' sub-title 'Sales, ' to be designated as
'Section 275 A. "
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "A n Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland, to
two bequests contained in the last will and testament of
Rebecca Jane Jones, late of Baltimore city, deceased,
one. of one hundred dollars to the Fourth Baptist Church
of Baltimore city, and the other of one hundred dollars
to the Missionary Societies belonging to the Fourth Bap-
tist Church of Baltimore city, (to be divided among the
said Missionary Societies equally. ")
