Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to appropriate
a sum of money to the Commissioners of Fisheries of
Maryland, for the purpose of enabling them to construct
in Druid Hill Park, Baltimore, Maryland, a pond or ponds,
for the purpose of propagating black bass and for caring"
for and distributing the same throughout the waters of
the State. "
Also,
Leave was granted to the. Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 448, of
the Acts of 1898, chapter 123, entitled ' City of Balti-
more Charter, ' and to re-enact said section 448, under the
head of ' Fire Department, ' with amendments, so as to
read as follows:
On motion of Mr. Waters,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal so
much of the Act of 1798, chapter 107. as authorizes the
payment of the sum of $800 annually to the visitors of
the Frederick county school, and to pay the said sum of
$800 over to the Board of County School Commissioners
for the benefit of the High schools of Frederick county "
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland, to the
bequest in the last will and testament of George R.
Goldsborough, late of Talbot county, deceased.
On motion of Mr. Anderson, of Carroll,
Leave was granted to the Carroll and Frederick dele-
gations to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal
chapter 91, of the Acts of 1894, entitled "An Act to in-
corporate the town of Mount Airy, in Carroll and Fred-
erick counties, ' and the several Acts and parts of Acts
amendatory thereof, and to re-enact the said Act of 1894,
with amendments. "
