ment of a Joint Committee of five, three on the part of
the House, and two on the part of the Senate, to wait
upon his Excellency, the Governor, and inform him that
the Legislature will adjourn at mid-night, and concur
therein. We have named on the part of the House,
Messrs. Lehmayer, King, and Walbach.

Mr. Lehmayer, moved to reconsider the vote on House
bill No. 748.

Which was adopted.

He then moved to reconsider the amendment to the bill.
Which, was adopted.

On motion, said amendment was then non-concurred in.
Mr. Latrobe then submitted the following message:
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

April 2, 1900.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

The House of Delegates having refused to concur in
amendments proposed by the Senate to the House bill
entitled "An Act to incorporate the Tidewater Fire In-
surance Company of Cambridge, Maryland, printed No.
439, " we respectfully request your Honorable Body to
recede from said amendments and herewith return said
bill.
