REPORT:

The Report of the Joint Conference Committee on the
amendments to House bill entitled "An Act to appropriate
certain sums of money to the support of sundry schools
and charitable institutions in the State of Maryland, for
each of the two fiscal years ending on the 30th day of
September 1901, and on the 30th day of September 1902,
respectively, " respectfully recommended.

A. —That the Senate recede from its amendments as
follows:

1. $25. 000 a year for two years to Johns Hopkins
University.

2. $3, 008 a year for two years to the State Bureau of
Immigration.

3. $1, 500 a year for two years to the Fish Commis-
sioners of the Eastern Shore.

4. $250 a year for two years to the Hebrew Aged
Home of Baltimore city.
