House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 8, 9, 12,
13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 31, 32, 34 and 36 of Ar-
ticle 65 of the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Militia, '
as re-enacted by chapter 89 of the Acts of Assembly of
1896, and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to
add additional sections to said Article 65 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title 'Militia, ' as re-enacted by
chapter 89 of the Acts of Assembly of 1896, and by this
Act to be known and designated as 'Sections 14 A, 50, 51,
52 and 53. "'

grossed for a third reading.
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 23 of Article 81 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title 'Revenue and Taxes, ' sub-title
'Race and Items of State Tax, ' as said section was
amended by the Acts of 1898. chapter 220. "
Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the issue of
five hundred thousand dollars Maryland State bonds for
the purpose of erecting a new State building in the city
of Annapolis, and for the improvement of other State in-
stitutions, said bonds to be issued at a rate not higher
than three and one-half per centum interest per annum
and to provide a sinking fund for the payment of the
said bonds. "

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, section 73 and section 75 to 78, both inclu-
sive, of Article 39, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title 'Fish and Fisheries, " sub-title "Trout and other
Fish" and to add certain new sections to said Article to
follow section 78 to be designated as 'Section 78 A, 78 B,
78 C, 78 D, 78 E, 78 F and 78 G. "
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
1. Amend by adding the word "wilfully" after the
word "shall" in line 10 of said bill.
