ated and particularly set out and described. "

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend by striking out all after "Section 1, " and insert-
ing as follows:

"Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the sum of $8, 000 be, and the same is hereby ap-
propriated to be expended in making such additional re-
pairs and improvements at the House of Reformation for
Colored Boys at Chettalham, as may be necessary, in the
judgment of the Board of Managers of said Institution.

"Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That the treasurer on warrant
of the comptroller be, and he is hereby authorized to pay
to the Board of Managers of said institution the said sum
of $8, 000 upon the vouchers of the treasurer of the insti-
tution approved by the President of the Board of Man-
agers. "
