Which was read, assented to and sent to the Senate.

The committee on the part of the House to notify the
Governor of the organization of the House, returned and
reported that they had waited upon the Governor and
he had informed them that he would, in a few moments,
communicate with the House in writing.

The Secretary of State appeared and delivered the
following message from his Excellency, the Governor:

We have received your message proposing that when
the General Assembly adjourns to-day, it stands ad-
journed until Tuesday next, 9th instant, at 8 o'clock, P.
M., and concur therein.
