Gentlemen of the Senate:
We respectfully propose, with the concurrence of your
Honorable Body, that the Senate and House of Dele-
gates, meet in the Hall of the House of Delegates, at 2. 30
o'clock, P. M., January 3rd, 1900, when the Speaker of
the House shall preside, and in the presence of both houses
open the returns of election for Governor of the State in
conformity with the requirements of Art. 2, Sec. 3, Con-
stitution of Maryland.
We have appointed five members as a committee to
escort your Honorable Body to the hall of this House of
