On motion of Mr. Graeff, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Frenzel be excused on account of
sickness.

On motion of Mr. Garner, it was

Ordered, That Mr. King be excused from to-day's ses-
sion on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Scrimger, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Duncan be excused from attendance
at to-day's session on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Linthicum, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Corkran be excused from attend1
ance of this session.

On motion of Mr. Lehmayer, it was
Ordered, That Hon. A. Leo Knott be excused from to-
day's session by reason of important business.

Mr. Feldmeyer submitted the following order:

Ordered, That Henry Campbell. Wm. E. Medford and
Wm. Parker be paid for seven days' services rendered in
the House of Delegates; and that Oliver S. League be
paid for 14 days' services rendered in the House of Del-
egates.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

Mr. Ditty submitted the following order:

Ordered, That Wm. H. Taylor, bo paid for ten (10)
days service.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

Mr. Mitchell submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the use of the Hall of the House of
Delegates be granted to the Board of Visitors of the
Maryland Asylum and Training School, between the
hours of 11 and 12 o'clock, on Thursday, February 1st,
1900, for the purpose of exhibiting to the members of the
legislature the beneficial efforts of training of the feeble
minded, and exhibiting their handiwork, drill, and pro-
ficiency in music.

Which was read, and adopted.
