LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.

On motion of Mr. Robinson,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary, to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, sections 6 and 7, of Article 63, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title 'Justice of the Peace. ' ''

On motion of Mr. Buckey,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary, to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, section 32 of Article 27, of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland, title 'Crimes and
Punishment, " sub-title 'Counterfeiting and Forgery. ' "

On motion of Mr. Kimberly,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means, to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to extend the
privileges, enlarge the powers, and amend the charter of
'The Jacob Tome Institute, ' a corporation incorporated
under the Genera] Incorporation Laws of this State, and
whose charter Was amended by an Act passed by the
General Assembly of Maryland, session of 1898, chapter
76. "

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sec-
tions 146 A, 146 B, 146 C, 146 D, 146 E, 146 E 1 and 146
F, of Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title 'Revenue and Taxes, ' as amended by chapter 120, of
the Acts of Assembly in the year 1896, and chapters 313
and 505, of the Acts of Assembly in the year 1898. "

On motion of Mr. Graeff,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter
of the Cumberland Savings Bank, so as to authorize said
bank to engage in and conduct a general banking busi-
ness. "

On motion of Mr. Long,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 40,
of Article 17, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
' Clerks of Courts, ' sub-title ' Clerks of Court of Appeals, '
as repealed and re-enacted by Acts of 1894, chapter 298,.
and to re-enact the same with amendments. "
