Mr. Latrobe, from the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably, with request that same be sent to the
Washington county delegation.

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 31, of
Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Revenue and Taxes. ' sub-title 'Collectors, ' and
to re enact the same with amendments. "

Which was read and referred to the Washington county
delegation.

Also, unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the better
enforcement of law relating to 'Labor and Industries. '"

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

Also, unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to prevent exemption from
taxation in Baltimore city of $200 in furniture, and to tax
all diamonds and other costly jewelry except as to first
$200 in value belonging to any person residing in Balti-
more city. "

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

House bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 81 of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Revenue and Taxes, ' to be designated as 'Sec-
tion 204, ' to follow section 203 of said Article, and tu re-
peal all Acts or parts of Acts, laws or parts of laws in
conflict with the provisions of this Act, so far as the
same may be in conflict. "
