ported favorably, with proposed amendments.
House bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of
money to the Female House of Refuge for the erection
of a new building and steam heating apparatus. "
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend section 1 line 2 by striking out the word "six-
teen" and inserting in lieu thereof the word "eight. "
Amend by striking out all after section 2 and inserting
in lieu thereof, "be it enacted, That the treasurer on the
warrant of the Comptroller, be and he is hereby author-
ized to pay to the board of managers of said institution
the said sum of eight thousand dollars upon vouchers of
the treasurer of the Institution, approved by the presi-
dent of the beard of managers. "

reported favorably, with request that same be referred to
the Prince George's county delegation,
' Senate bill entitled "An Act to create a Board of Coun-
ty Road Commissioners for Prince George's county, Md.,
who shall have charge of all public roads and bridges of
said county, to provide for the maintenance cf same, and
i to repeal sections 278, 278 A to 290, both inclusive, title
'Roads, ' of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title 'Prince George's County, ' sections 1, 2, 13, 19, 20,
' 21, 22, 23 and 24 of Article 25, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title 'County Commissioners, ' and all other
laws so far as the said sections and laws may be incon-
sistent with the provisions of this Act. "
