favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter of
and to grant certain additional powers and privileges to
the Hagerstown and Frederick Railroad Company, a cor-
poration duly incorporated under and in accordance with
the provisions of Article 23, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, so as to confer upon said railway
company the right and power to use electricity as a mo-
tive power instead of steam, to charge such compensation
for hauling passengers, parcels, packages and freight as
the board of directors may from time to time determine,
and to borrow money, issue bonds and secure the pay-
ment of the same. "

House bill entitled "An Act to declare the sanction and
consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to the sale
and grant and deed by Emily M. Jenkins and Charles
Taylor Jenkins, her husband, to the Vestry of the Church
of St. Michaels and All Angels, a religious corporation,
to and for the use and benefit of said corporation as
hereinafter named.

ported favorably, with amendments,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 102, 103
and 114, of Article 81, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title 'Revenues and Taxes, ' sub-title 'Collateral
Inheritance Tax, ' and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments. "

In section 1, line 23, strike out the word "ten" and sub-
stitute the word "twelve. "
