chester county asking for the appropriation of money for
the publication in German of the bulletins issued by the
State Agricultural Experiment Station.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.

Mr. Linthicum presented the petition of S. F. Kirwan
and 50 others protesting against the passage of a fence
law for said district.

Which was read and referred to the Dorchester county
delegation.

Mr. Siegmund presented a letter from German citizens
asking same.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.

ORDERS.

Mr. Lehmayer submitted the following order.

Ordered, That Aldert Goodman, J. T. Bratten, Paul
Winchester, Harry T. Levely, A. F. Trappe, F. D. Madeira,
W. F. A. Hasson, August Gisin, Harold Scarborough and
W. M. Abbott, House of Delegates reporters, be paid
each, the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars for servi-
ces rendered the House during this session.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

On motion of Mr. Robinson, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Wm. L. Cover be excused from to-
day's session on account of illness.

On motion of Mr. Simmons, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Gibson be excused from today's ses-
sion on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Biggs, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Wolfinger be excused from attend-
ance at this session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Jeffers, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Mann be excused from attending
to-day's session on account of sickness.

Mr. Dudley, of Talbot, submitted the following
order:
