The Journal of the 19th inst, was read and approved.

PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.

Mr. Walsh presented the petition signed by John H.
Taylor and others, of Carroll county, for a law to pro-
hibit the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager
beer within 1 1/2 miles of Bethel Church, near Carrollton,
Carroll county.

Which was read and referred to the Carroll county
delegation.

Mr. Bennett presented the petition of E. L. Austin and
others, of Wicomico county, against shooting muskrats,
hares and minks at night.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Game and Fish.

The Montgomery county delegation presented the pe-
tition of 20 citizens of Montgomery county, for a General
Local Option law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Choate presented the petition of Albert Gosnell,
Frank Ducker and others, against the passage of the
Pharmacy bill.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Hygiene.

Mr. Perkins presented the petition of certain citizens
of Prince George's county, against the passage of bill
creating a Board of County Road Commissioners.

Which was read and referred to the Prince George's
county delegation.
