ported favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to empower the United
Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore city, a body cor-
porate, formed under the General Incorporation Laws of
the State of Maryland, to enlarge the number of the di-
rectors, to increase the capital stock and to issue perpet-
ual policies of insurance. "

Mr. Staley, from the Committee on Education, report-
ed favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, sections 19, of Article 77, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title Public Education. ' "

Mr. Knott, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to amend sections 1 and 2,
of chapter 344, of the Acts of 1896, entitled an Act to in-
corporate the Federal Trust and Banking Company, so
that the corporate title of the said corporation shall
hereafter be the City Trust and Banking Company, and
further amending said Act so as to authorize the election
of 25 directors or less. "

House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Mayor
and Council of Hagerstown, to issue bonds to pay the
town's quota or assessment for the extension of Prospect
street, in said town, northwest, between Washington and
Church streets, and for the laying out, grading and
macadamizing the same. "
