House bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 615, of
the Acts of 1890, entitled "An Act to amend Article 13,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled 'Harford
County, ' by adding additional sections thereto. "

Which was read a first time.

BILLS—SECOND READING.

House bill, entitled "An Act to authorize and direct
the Board of County Commissioners of Calvert county
to erect and maintain boards so painted and marked with
letters and figures as to indicate the direction of and
distance to the nearest town, city, village, postoffice,
turnpike, in main road at the intersection of all county
roads in said county. "

Which was read a second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to amend an Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
session, 1898, chapter 259, entitled 'An Act to incorporate
the Real Estate Trust Company, so that the corporate
title of the said corporation shall hereafter be ' Colonial
Trust Company. '"

Which was read a second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Mr. Knott, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act supplementary to an Act
entitled 'An Act to incorporate the Home for the Aged of
Frederick city, ' passed by the General Assembly of
Maryland, in the year 1892, and known as 'Chapter 87, '
of an Act of the General Assembly of that year. "

Which was read a second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading, «

Mr. Collins, from the Committee on Claims, reported
unfavorably the following order:

Ordered, That electric fans be placed over each door
into the house from the lobby for ventilation.

Also unfavorably the following order:

Ordered, That the Clerk to the Committee on Ways
