posed, the amount of cost taxed and the amount of fine,
penalty and cost collected by him, and all such fines,
penalties and costs including constables fees which the
said police justice of the peace is hereby required to col-
lect, shall at the same time of his making his said report be
paid to the order of the said county commissioners; and the
said police justice of the peace shall at the first regular
meeting in ever month of the Mayor and Coun-
cil of Hagerstown shall also make a similar report,
as hereinbefore provided of all cases tried before
him for offenses committed under the charter and
ordinances of Hagerstown, and shall pay over to the
order of the said Mayor and Council all fines, penalties
and forfeitures imposed and collected by him for any
violations of said charter and ordinances of said town,
and also all costs incurred in said cases and collected in-
cluding the same fees paid to constables for like services
which the said justices are hereby required to collect.

265 G. The police justice of the peace of the districts
3, 17, 21, 22, 24 and 25 of said county shall receive for
his services in criminal cases from the county com-
missioners the sum of $66. 67 per month, payable in cash
or county order equivalent to cash on the day of his
making his report as hereinbefore provided, and shall
not directly or indirectly charge or receive any other
fees or compensation for hearing of criminal cases, ex-
cept he shall be allowed the sum of sixteen dollars and
seventy-five cents per month by the Mayor and Council
of Hagerstown for services rendered in cases for viola-
tions of the charter and ordinances of said town,

"265 H. The constables of Washington county except
in the 3, 17, 21, 22, 24 and 25th districts, shall be en-
titled to the fees prescribed by Article 36, section 14, of
the Code of Public General Laws for the particular
services rendered except the fee allowed for serv-
ing summons for witnesses and return, and for such
services they shall be allowed the sum of twenty
cents for each of the first five witnesses summoned
and returned, and for each additional witness the sum
of five cents; and should the sheriff of said county
perform such duties he shall be allowed the same fees as
are herein allowed to constables; the fees of the constables
in and for the 3, 17, 21, 22, 24 and 25 districts shall be
