On motion of Mr. Long,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to give all wages due
and owing to any employee for services rendered to any
railway company operating in the State of Maryland,
priority to all other claims. "
On motion of Mr. Scrimger,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Insurance and
Loans to[introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add an addi-
tional section to Article 23, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title 'Corporations, ' sub-title 'Insurance Depart-
ment, ' to provide for the regulation of assessment insur-
ance companies in this State. "
On motion of Mr. Gately,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the
American Trust and Investment Company. "
On motion of Mr. Knott,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 26 of
the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Courts, ' by add-
ing a new section thereto, relating to the abandonment
of actions, suits or other proceedings, to follow section
17, and to be known as 'Section 17 A. ' "
On motion of Mr. Staley,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the
Hagerstown Fidelity Company. "
On motion of Mr. Latrobe,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-en-
act with amendments sections 2 and 3, of chapter 510, of
the Acts of 1898, entitled an Act to incorporate the Con-
tinental Trust Company. "
On motion of Mr. Mitchell,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Elections to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add four new sections
to Article 33, of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, title 'Elections, ' and the several Acts and
parts of Acts amendatory thereto, as repealed and re-en-
