RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore be authorised and directed to pay unto William Kilty, out of any unappropriated monies that may be in the treasury, four thousand dollars, after the first day of January next, in full for his services in compiling his edition of the laws of Maryland. By order, W. HARWOOD, clk. Which were severally read the first time and ordered to lie on the table. And returns the bill, entitled, A supplement to an act, entitled, An act to establish a bank, and incorporate the subscribers thereto, endorsed; " By the house of delegates, December 4, 1800: Upon reconsideration will pass. " By order, W. HARWOOD, clk." Ordered to be engrossed. The bill to open a road to Philip Hardcastle's mill, in Caroline county, was read the second time and will not pass. The president communicates to the senate a petition from sundry inhabitants of Prince-George's and Montgomery counties, praying that a communication may be opened from the Frederick-town road to the city of Washington; which was read, and referred to Uriah Forrest, John Chesley and David McMechen, Esquires, to consider and report thereon. The bill to pay the civil list, and other expences of civil government, was read the second time and will pass. S A T U R D A Y, December 6, 1800. THE senate met. Present the same members as
