The 14th: day of November 1688 Comrts: as aforesaid 94
The peticon of William Coleburne Tanner Shewing that Whereas your peticoner being Sumoned to
The last Court as an Evidence on the behalfe of the Lord propry: against John Ellis your peticoners
wife being Very Sick and weake and not Able to help her selfe and your poor peticoner not having
Any body to help her or looke after her in your peticoners Absent your peticoner was bound and
Constrained to provide for his wife in Sickness and healt whereupon your poore peticoner humbly
beggs you would be pleased to Comiserate his condition & remitt his fine - - - - -
This Court haveing taken into consideration the peticoners poverty it was Ordered his fine to be
Remitted as prayed &a: - -

Came John Bound & in Open Court did acknowledge himselfe to stand indebted to the Rt: honoble:
Charles Lord Barron of Baltemore in the full Sume of Twenty pounds Sterl: and Lawrence Young
did likewise acknowledge himselfe to stand indebted to the aforesaid Lord Baron of Baltemore //
in the full and just Sume of fforty pounds Sterl: mony of England to be leavyed on their & either
of their goods & Chattles Lands & Tennements for the use of the Lord propry: aforesaid
The Condicon of the Above recognizance being Such that if the aforesaid Lawrence Young shall &
will make his personall appeareance at the next Court of Adjournment to be holden on the Second
Tuesday in December Next there to answer unto what & shall be Objected against him on the =
behalfe of the aforesaid Lord Barron of Baltemore & then & there Abide judgment According
To Law that then the Above Obligacon to be void & of none effect Otherwise to remaine in force
Power and vertue &ca:

Whereas there was this day (to Witt the 14th: day of November as aforesaid) an agreement =
made with William Vennabell joyner in Open Court vizt: the said Vennabell to Cover the Court
house to remove the staires that now are & make a new staire Case in the next Corner & to remove
the pirticon further in & to make a Table for the Justices as alsoe to make a Seate for the Justices
with a greate Chaire in the Middle and a penett over head the said Chaire with my Lords Coate
of Armes to be Carved in the same & abarr with a Table & a Seate for the Clerk and the same
and every part thereof to be well made according to platt he the said Vennable to find planck
Nailes & all other Materiall fitt for the same Timber trees only excepted & in Consideracon
Thereof the said William Vennabell is to have five Thousand five hundred pounds of Tobacco
to be paid by the County & the said Sume to be putt in in the next Leavy &aa - - - - -

Ordered that the Clerk that now is draw a Conveyance for The Tenn Acres that belongs
to the Court house which is to be drawne in the name of Capt: David Browne & mr: Roger Woolford
and to their successors in place of Justices &a: - - - - - - - - -

Came James Given Robert Given Thomas Ackworth Edward Bennett John Goslin
William Keene junr: Edward Craige David harris & Thomas Gordon & in Open Court made
oath upon the holly Evangelist of the behalfe of the Rt: honoble: the Lord propry against
Lawrence Young & John Kemp Upon which it was ordered that the foregoing Evidences be
Sumoned agt: the next Court of Adjournment to be holden the second Tuesday in December
