It was then Ordered that the said John Ellis give Security for his behavio^r & that he pay all fees -
Came William Coleburne the Tanner & Thomas Poole & in open Court did acknowledge themselves
to stand indebted unto the R^tt: hono^ble: the Lord prop^ry: in the Sume of Twenty pounds Sterl: a peece~
and the Said John Ellis Sen^r: in the full Sume of fforty pounds Sterl to be Leavyed on their & either
of theire goods & Chattles Lands & Tennements for the use of Lord prop^ry: aforesaid &c^a: - - -
The Condicon of the above Recognizance being Such that if the Above bounden John Ellis Sen^r: be
of the good behavio^r: & Abearance towards all his Lordpps good people within this province & more
Especially in this County of Sum^rsett & that he pay all ffees due from him that then the Above
Recognizance to be void Otherwise to remaine in full force & vertue &c^a: - - - - -
