And brought forth a bastard Child to the greate dishonor: of almighty God Scandall &
Evill example of his Lordpps good people & in contempt of his Lordpps good Laws &
Institucons of this province Therefore his Lordpps Attourney Craves Judgment may be
Entred against the said Offender according to Law in that Case provided &a:

Whereupon the said Elizabeth Wilson appeares and ownes her fact and saies that
Allexander Jordin is the father of her said Child Upon which is was this day //

became bound in Court Sitting for her good behaviour: & payment of all Charges due from her

Sumrsett County Ss The Jurors: for the Right honoble: the Lord propry being Sworne upon the holly
Evangelist at a grand Jury in June Court last past doe present and find that Joane =
Scobell woman Servt: to Edward ffowler hath most Wickedly and Shamefully comitted forni
=caon & borne a bastard Child to the greate dishonor: of Almighty God Scandall & =
Evill example to all his Lordpps good people & in contempt of his Lordpps good Laws

Whereupon the said Joane Scobell appeares & ownes her fact and saies that She is Since
married to Thomas Camprin which Said Camprin appeares prsonally in open Court & proffers
to pay a fyne for the said Joane Scobell but now his wife either in Tobacco or worke -
according to Law Upon which it was the same day Ordered that the said Thomas Camprin
pay Twenty daies worke in Monney hundred when thereunto required & further the said Joane
Scobell als Joane Camprin Saies that one Patrick Russ is the father of her Child //
William Harris became bound for the aforesd: Joane Scobell vizt: for her good behaviour: &
for the payment of all Charges & ffees due fro her &a: - - - - -

The humble peticon of Tho: Holbrooke/
Sheweth That Robert Payne late of this County deced lay at yor: peticoners house from the
16th: day of March last past untill the first of June following Sick & Lame & Where
William Robeson of this County hath by vertue of a writeing under the said Robert
Paynes hand as he pretends gott the estate of the said Payne into his hands and
Whereas yor: peticoner had at the time the said Paynes deced in his custody A Mare &
a ffoale which he retained in his custody in part of Satisfaction for his pain & trouble
in keeping the said Paine in his Sickness & Lameness the Terme Abovesaid the said
Wm: Robeson did at of about the 13th: of July last past procure a Warrant under the=
hand of mr: Wm: Brereton one of his Lordpps Justices for the delivery of the said Mare
& ffoale & upon demand of satisfaction for the said Trouble the said Tho: Holbrooke =
