The Condition of the Within Obligation being Such that if the within bound
Jame Inglish be of the good behavio^r: and that dureing pleasure as alsoe pay

The Juro^rs: for the R^tt: hono^ble: the Lord prop.^ry being Sworne upon the holly Evangelist
at a grand Jury held for the body of this County in November last past doe present &
finde that Lawrence Young of this County planter and John Kemp at Sundry & divers
Time have most wickedly Malitiously and injuriously wronged and defrauded their
Neighbours in and about the plantacon of the said Young by feloniously Stealeing
Killing and Carrying away his Neighbo^rs: hoggs and Cattle and Clandestinly absconding
Their flesh gutts and haire in unusuall places and whereas Severall the inhabitants =
Thereabouts being Jelouse of the said Lawrence & haveing Sustained greate Loss in
Their Stocks and missing Severall of their hoggs did by vertue of a warrant Search the
Plantacon of the said young by the Constable Upon the 27^th: and 28^rh: day of October last
past and then and there did finde a forty gallon Caske of porke hidd in the Woods by a
New brush ffence under an Old Tree one hoggs gutts fresh by the bancke side and in
William Collins Pattato patch was found one hogg gutts togeather with Liver & Leigh-
In a well neare the said youngs house was alsoe found Three hoggs gutts one hoggs haselet
with the Caule and fatt upon each as alsoe in the afores^d: Well where the gutts were found
were the hornes of a beast of one yeare and a halfe ole and the hornes of aNother of -
about Seaven yeare old togeather with hairs and Tallow w^ch: in the whole amounteth
to the vallew of Nyne hundred Nynety Nyne pounds of Tobaccoe whereupon his Lordpps
Attourney Comes and Saies that the said Lawrence Young hath most feloniously by & Clande-
defrauded his Neighbours injured and Contemned his Lordpps good Laws and against
the publick peace Therefore Craves judgm^t: may be entered ag^t: the said Young and Kemp //
According to Law in that Case provided / Warrant read viz^t:
Sum^rsett County Ss /
Whereas Complaint hath been made to me this day that Phillip Carter of Rockawakin
of the County afores^d: hath at Severall times Losse Severall hoggs and that the s^d: Phillip
Carter doth Suspect and mistrust Severall persons for the takeing of the same
These are therefore in the Name of the R^tt: hono^ble: the Lord prop^ry: forthwith upon Sight hereof
to make dilligent Search in Such Suspected house or houses as the said Phillip Carter shall I--
for the said hoggs or Meate and if any found to bring or cause to be brough the said hoggs
