Memorandum that this Day vizt the 13th Day of November 1683 Roger Troughton Did agree with
his master David Browne to serve him for the Two hundred & fifty dayes mentioned in the acct
& for the Charges untill the first of october next before me James Dashiell
This Cort orders That mr James Dashiell Certificate of Roger Troughtons running away from his
master Capta David Browne be allowed & yt the said Roger Troughton serve his said master
Capta David Browne untill the first of october next : / : ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Thes Cort adjournes the Cort untill the twenty Seaventh day of this present Month of November

Sommersett County Ss William Cheeseman Late of this County was attached to answr unto Robert
Glessell gentl: in an accon of the Case
And whereupon Thomas Poole by his Attourney Thomas Poole Comes & Saids yt he the Sd William
upon y 8th day of May in the year of our Lord 1682 the full & Just Summe of eight hundred
ninety pounds of good marchantable Porke it being due to y plte for Severall goods &
marchantdizes delivered unto y deft by the plte as will in Cort. more plainely appeare as per
Accompt here produced the which accot the deft aforesaid did promise to pay & Satisfie unto y
plte when thereunto required by the plte:but he the said William Little regarding his promise
but fraudulently Intending the plte to deceive of the Summe aforesaid 890lb: of porke hath payd
653lb: of pork Soe yt there remaines due to the plte 237 pounds of Porke wch he the said deft
hath not paid but doth deny & Still doth deny to pay the Same although often thereunto required
by the plte whereupon the plte Saith he is Damnified & hath Damage & Losse to y vallue of
Six hundred pounds of Porke And there upon brings this Sute : / :
