And this day to witt y 14^th november A^oD^o 1683 W^m Richardson & Attalanta Osborne before the Co^rt made oath
upon the wholy Evangelists that they Sawe Richard Harris & W^m Thomas Signe Seale & deliver the aboves^d
writing as theire Act and Deed
The def^t Craves Speciall bayle of the plte if he be Cast To pay Cost w^ch this Co^rt ord^rs the plte to do
W^mMorris of this County acknowledged before the Co^rt: y^t he stands indebted unto Richard Harris of this (County?)
in the full & Just Summ of Two Thousand pounds of Tobacco be paid to y said Richard Harris or (his)
ord^rs The Condicon thereof is y^t if W^m Thomas be Cast in a Sute brought by him y^t Richard Harris (by)
a plea of Covenant y^t if the said W^m Thomas doth not pay the Cost & Damadges the Said W^m Mor(ris)
will pay it for him to this recognizance the said W^m Morris made answ^r before the Co^rt he would
& there upon the plte desires his wittnes may be Sworne vizt John Bishop planto^r Allex^r Williams-

Whereas Elizabeth Williams (Servant to Jacob Waring of this County) was this day presented by his
Lopp^s Grand Enquest for the body of this County for bearing Two bastard Chilldren The said Elizabeth
appearing before the said Justices Confesseth her fact And saith y^t Richard Harris is the ffather
of them The Said Richard Harris appearing Solemly denies the same The Co^rt orders that the
Sherife take y said Elizabeth Williams into his Custody and her well Lay on upon the bare back
nine & thirty Stripes: w^ch was executed accordingly ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Whereas John Roach Sen^r: of this County ~~for~~ disturbed the Co^rt by undesent behaviour in Speaking
without Leave Contrary to Rules of Co^rt: This Co^rt orders that for his misdeameanor he pay ouS
y Sherife of the County for the use of y Poore one hundred pounds of Tobacco ~ ~ ~

Whereas John Pearse of this County Chirurgeon alleaged that m^r: W^m: Brereton had made a breach
of the Sabbath day the Said W^m Brereton appearing denyed the same. John Pearse made oath
upon the holy Evangelists & was ex^a: by the Co^rt: Concerning the Premisses And findes no breach
of Sabbath Committed by m^r: W^m Brereton And thereupon this Co^rt orders that he be acquitted

Whereas John Outen Complaineth y^t his Servant Elizabeth Williams was delivered of Two bastard Chilldren
in the Time of her Service at his house humbly desires ord^r: that She make satisfaccon for trouble Losse of time
and Charges (the Said Elizabeth being present) This Co^rt orders that the Said Elizabeth Williams pay or Cause
to be paid unto John Outen or his order eight hundred pounds of tobacco ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

1680 Aug^st 17^th To ten dayes run away 100 the said Roger with men and horse & 200^lb of tob.
1681/2 Jan^ry To Two dayes run away 20 payde Thomas Cox a Canew cutt in peeces & put adrift
1682 April y 4^th To Two dayes absented 20 in the Creek ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
1683 Sept^br y 5^th To three dayes run away 30 Turn over
