Sommersett County Ss William Piper of this County was Summoned to answr unto Thomas Bird
of the Same County in an accon of the Case
And whereupon the plte by his Attourney James Langster Complaineth that the plte hath
Sailed the vessell of y deft as master & that there Stands due to y plte from the deft the Just
Summe of Twenty three pounds eight Shillings & one penny Sterling money as the ballance
of Accots for wages & disburssments in the year 1682 & the year 1683 as will more fully apeare
by the said Accots here in Cort produced wch said Summe the plte hath often required of the deft
but hath hitherto beene denyed & yet doth deny to y great Loss & damadge to y vallue of
forty Six pounds Sterling money & hereupon brings this Sute Jno Doe
