This Bill bindeth mee William Keane of Wiccocomoco river in Sommrsett County mee my heirs
Execrs: or certaine attorneys to pay upon Demand four hundred twenty four pounds of good gross
porke att Some convenient place in y County & river aforesaid unto Gilbert Turbervile of St:Maries
River in St: Marys County his certaine attornis In witt hereof I have hereunto Sett my hand

And whereupon y Said Berre by his attorney Thomas Poole Saith yt hee the said Robertson became
indebted unto him y aforesaid Berre in y moneth of ffebruary in y yeare of or Lord God 1677: eight
Dayes worke which will in Cort more plainely appeare but hee y said John fraudulently intending
him y said Berre to Deceive of y aforesaid worke Denyeth & still Doth Deny to pay y same although
often thereunto required whereupon y plaintiffe Saith yt hee is Damnified & hath Dammadge to
y value of Six hundred pounds of Tobacco & thereupon brings his Suit: /: ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
