This bill bindeth me John Dorman Cooper my heires executers or admrs: to pay or Cause
to be paid unto Henry Smith his heires executors administrators or assignes the
full & Just summe of Two hundred fifty & Two pounds of Tobacco at or upon the
10th of october next ensueing the Date hereof as witness my hand this 19th. Janry 1674

This Cort Therefore orders yt the Late Sherife Collo Wm Colebourne pay the plte Six hundred
fifty foure pounds of Tobacco & Cost of Suite or assigne over y bayle bond to y plaintiffe ~ `

Sommersett Ss Anne Ackworth y relict & executrix of Richard Ackworth Late of this County
was Sumoned to answr. John Warner in a plea of Trespas upon y Case ~ ~
Whereupon the Said Warner by his Attorney Thomas Poole Saith that in y month of November
Annoq Dom: 1670 The plte arived in this Province & was Sold unto Richard Ackworth for
ffoure years and no longer as by Indenture wch was delivered to y Said Ackworth
which the Said Ackworth tore & burnt and thereby hath by violence forced the
plaintiffe to serve one year & threequarters Longer then he indented for,
The plte having often demanded his freedome And is thereof denied Therefore
Craves ordr for his freedome with Corne & Clothes accustomed According to Act of
Assembly in such Cases provided as alsoe Satisfaccon for one year & three quarters
Service whereupon the plaintiffe Saith he is Damnified and hath Damadge to the
nine hundred & ninety pounds
