Still detaine the Said Cattle where by the Said Tymothy is Damnified & hath Damadge to y vallue
of Two Thousand pounds of Tobacco & Caske & thereupon brings his Suite ~ ~ ~ ~

This ffollowing Letter was produced in Cort & read
Loving freind pray deliver unto y bearer hereof Tymothy Love them Cattle of Mine wch is at yor
house wch is one Cowe and yearling & her Calfe if She hath Calved for I doe understand yt the
other is dead if not deliver her Likewise pray faile not in delivering of them or to his order
Soe having no more at present but my kinde Love to you all I rest yor: frend to Command
and in Soe doeing this my note Shall be yor: Dischardge Aprill y 8th 1675 John Walker

This ffollowing writing was produced in Cort: & read
Know All men by these presents that I John Walker plantr of Delaware bay have bargained
& Soulld unto Tymothy Love of the Same one yearling browne pide with a Starre in the forehead
unmarked running at the house of John Avery & one black yearling Cropt on the left ear & Slitt
in the Crop & one Cowe Cole black wch: I bought of Daniell Curtis in SomerSett County wch Cowe is of y
Said Curtisses mark onely one Slitt under the right ear given by me whereas I the Said Walker
have bargained and Soulld the Said Cattle unto the aforesaid Love or his assignes I doe binde
me my heires or assignes for to warrant the aforesaid Cattle and theire Increase from any person
or persons from Laying any Claime thereunto as in my behalfe & to the true performance of
Same I have hereunto Sett my hand this 8th day of Aprill 1675 ~ ~ John Walker

Soulld unto Henry Smith his heires or assignes one black heifer Cropt on the left ear & Slitt in the
Crop & one Cowe Cole black which John Walker bought of Daniell Curtis in Sommersett County &
wch Cowe is of the Said Daniells marke onely a Slitt under the right ear with her Increase from the
Time that they were mine with all other privilidges or else due to me Concerning the Sd Cattle
having recd: full Satisfaccon for y Same as wittnes my hand this 22th June 1675 ~ ~ ~

And Whereupon the aforesaid Henry Smith by his Attourney Edward Jones Saith That the aforeSaid John
Dorman became Indebted unto the aforesaid Smith in y Summe of Six hundred fifty four pounds
of Tobacco as doth more plainely appeare by Two Certaine writings under the Said Johns hand
the one bearing date y 19th day of ffebruary in the year 1674 the other the last day of May in y
year 1675 and by accot: wch: wee have here to produce in Cort wch: Two bills & accot: being y Same
of 654 pounds of Tobacco wch: the Said John Hath refused to pay the Summe of 654 pounds of
Tobacco & Still doth refuse whereupon the plaintiffe Saith he is Damnified & hath Damadge
