y def^t: to answ^r: otherwise to pay the debt The debt being one hundred Sixty
Two pounds of tob: made appeare to be due from the def^t: (The def^t now not
appearing) Whereupon this Co^rt orders that Coll^o Colebourne pay the debt of Jarman
Gillett to Thomas Walker vizt one hundred Sixty Two pounds of Tobacco with

This Depon^t Saith that there will be due from him unto Cornelius Verhoofe and Edward
Cantwell next fall the quantity of one Thousand Seaven hundred & Twenty odd pounds
of Tobacco & further Saith not ; / ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Taken before me this 19^th day of May A^o:D^o: 1676 George Johnson
Whereas an Attachment was grannted by this Court to Robert Catlin Sen^r: upon the goods
Chattles Debts & Creditts of Cornelius Verhoofe for nine hundred forty five pounds of tobacco
The Sherife having laid y Attachment for the Said 945^lb: of tob: in the hands of Allexander
Draper of this County gent^l: to answ^r the Suite of Robert Catlin in a plea of Debt And the -
defend^t Cornelius Verhoofe not appearing either in Person or by his Attorney, This Co^rt: therefore orders
that Allexander Draper pay unto Robert Cattlin Sen^r: or his order the Said nine hundred
forty five pounds of Tobacco in Caske by November Court next Alias execucon . / .

And the Said Tymothy by his Attourney Henry Smith Saith That the Said Daniell Did at
or near unto the month of Aprill last past in the year of o^r Lord God 1675 Did take into
his Custody of the Said Tymothy one Cowe & Calfe & heifer near unto Two years old
and hath milked the Said Cowe without any leave of from the Said Tymothy & doth Still
